Bangladesh cricket legend Mahmudullah has announced that he will retire from T20 Internationals following the three-match series against India. After debuting in the format back in 2007 against Kenya, Mahmudullah has enjoyed a 17-year career in T20Is, making him one of the longest-serving players in the format, alongside Shakib Al Hasan and Zimbabwe\u2019s Sean Williams.<\/span><\/p><\/div>

His decision to step away from T20Is follows extensive discussions with his family, captain, coach, and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).<\/span><\/p><\/div>

Throughout his T20I career, Mahmudullah has made memorable contributions, including his standout performance in the 2018 Nidahas Trophy, where he scored 43 off 18 balls to take Bangladesh to the final. However, the all-rounder also pointed to Bangladesh\u2019s last-ball loss to India in the 2016 T20 World Cup as his most frustrating moment.<\/span><\/p><\/div>
